After I get my PTA certification, I'm thinking of going back to school for linguistics. Is there a big market for such people?

I speak a good amount of spanish. while in the emergency room last week I was translating for my sister in law whom speaks no english. I was doing great however the hospital was able to bring their translator in to give me a break, we got talking andhe said he makes 24 dollars a n hour working in the ER. He reccomended that I try it... he said it sure is fun.

Probably not and this has traditionally been a man's domain, even though women are more adept at learning languages. However, you could do some research before you actually get into a degree program. 2008 may be the year of the woman in this country.
