Has anybody ever quit college and then went back later to get there degree? If so how long where you out of college for? Did you go back to the same college that you previous attend or go to a different college? Was it hard going back to college?

The Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program assists students at participating California community colleges in transferring to UCSD. TAG students enter into a contract that specifies requirements they must satisfy at a community college and guarantees admission to the UCSD college and term of choice, but not necessarily to an oversubscribed major. Admission to highly selective majors, such as certain engineering majors, is not guaranteed.

Does it guarantee admission into ucsd for sure? If you get rejected to an oversubscribed major are you still in the college but without a major or do you have to reapply

I'm a 12th grade dirtbag with a 2.3 GPA and who hasn't taken the SAT yet and is looking for a good school to go to. My faimily has no money to spare, so I'm looking for a school with cheap housing nearby as well. A good artistic scene would be appreciated as well.

During my freshman year of college I had plenty of friends and people to hang around with. I hung out, talked, played video games, and went to the cafe with people daily. On weekends I went out to parties and went to baseball games and had a good time for the most part. But after my freshman year I made the difficult decision to transfer colleges because I received admission at a top university. I went knowing it might be hard for a transfer student to fit in. My worst fear came true. The first few days I met some people (other transfers) but after a couple of days I realized these people weren't right for me, and I lost touch with those few acquaintances. I joined a club, I got a job, I say hello to people in class and the hallways, I sit in the communal lounge, but with this contact i still can't make companions who i can go out with and such. Besides the first weekend I haven't gone out on weekends at all. I am forced to stay in my room. It's a month into school what can I do? Help

I am doing a high school senior project and I need some ideas. I want to do it on something that has to do with aviation because I want to be a pilot. If no one can think of anything that has to do with aviation, and ideas are good. I am also interested in going into crime investigations if by any chance the pilot idea does not work out for me, so any ideas involving crime investigation would also be appreciated. I was a foreign exchange student to Spain last year, and I am also considering doing a senior project some how involving that in a senior project too! This was a lot.
Thank you!!!!!!!!!

I am a psychology major and would like to become a doctor of clinical psychology, so i figured that trying to work out any issues i have with the field, may be a healthy process.

So, if we have a field of medicine which can treat, quite well, many of the most severe psychological disorders, do we need psychology?

Need advice.

I would like to study pharmacy. I graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. The only science course I took was in an introduction to Chemistry.

What should I do to go to Pharmacy school?
Should I go back and get another BS degree in science, biology, chemistry?
What's a good school to go to?

Please advise.

I am considering applying to Notre Dame, but I am slightly concerned about the whole Catholic outlook. I am Indian and Hindu; while the religious importance of the school doesn't bother me personally, do you think that my being not Catholic would influence my social aspect of college life (aka would I be in an outstanding minority)?

Thanks!

I'm a stay at home mom and really don't have a lot of time, nor money, to be taking any classes. I went to college for a year, and would love to go back soon, but until then, I really want to learn things from home. Are there any sites that are set up to learn similar to classwork, but don't cost money? I don't need a degree or certificate, this is for my own personal use only.

I have a great business idea, but I want to know if I should get a business degree first (or just some courses), or if it's a waste of my time. Also I could get the degree, then work for some time building capital so I don't have to borrow too much money. On the other hand, I feel like I may be wasting time taking theoretical business classes and spending money in college...
