I have decent grades from a decent school.. Will the school look at my academic record or my professional work experience as a deciding factor to get accepted?

I'm a senior and narrowed my choices, my gpa is very high and parents will pay for my univ. tuition. However:
I'm stuck in choosing which career:
-Medical school (doctor) takes too much years of univ, no life, and kinda frustrating, BUT BIG BUCKS in the end,,but too much studying, have great memorizing skills but kinda lazy when it comes to studying
-Business has unlimited potential, sounds better to me, but salaries for graduates kinda scares me off (40-60k)

ANYWAYS I inted to open my own (seriously aiming to become millionaire), i plan on working several years and saving or investing enough money to start on my own, I'm am very social and have unlimited determination and willpower to do whatever it takes
--------I dont want to lose my 20's for studying in medical but i think if i get experience in business and open my own is better]
--------But i have to consider possibilities: what if my business doesnt work out? Becoming a doctor is less risk but all millionaire took risks

Is it better to have a Bachelors in Business Management versus having an Associates in Business Management? I am 12 weeks away from earning my Associates in Business Management and am considering starting up at another college to complete the ACCEL program to earn my Bachelors degree in 18 months. Is it really worth it in todays society to have a Bachelors degree versus having an associates?

what do you think of this part of my essay ..does it sound okay? Tell me what you think please????

Becoming a doctor has always been a passion of mine ever since i was a little girl. Now that I am older i see my true passion on being a doctor. I love to help others and make them feel truly comfortable. I want to be a doctor with all my heart. I want to be a doctor so i can serve others. I have shared the lives of my patients as a personal care attendant. I have laughed and I have cried with them. This is what i want to do with my life.

To take a course in a language just to learn it, but it really has nothing to do with your major.

I want to take arabic or mandarin chinese at a local university, but they have nothing to do with my career (medicine).

Shall I? I honestly want to.

I have been really wanting to drop out of highschool for the past few years. lately, I have been depressed, my grades have been dropping, I have no motivation what-so-ever, I feel isolated, worned-out, hopeless and I'm just getting further and further behind. school, friends and family all have been and issue. school just started not so long ago and yet, I have skipped so many days of school, it seems impossible to make-up the work and materials. what should I do? even though I am a highschool senior and still have a 3.9 GPA, I want to give up on school already. My parents have agreed to let me drop out of highschool. i'm not quite sure of what I really want to do just yet. I am thinking of taking some time off of school. so, my question is, will this affect me later in the future when I try to get into colleges, apply for a job, obtain a degree? What are other alternatives? opinions? anybody out who have actually dropped out of highschool and became successful? chances? thanks!

My buddy in high school is trying to decide what he wants to do in college. Ultimately, he wants to be a novelist, but he's not sure what degree he should take to do that. Just a generic English degree? Something more specific? He came to me, and now I come before you: any suggestions?

I am in my third year of grad school in math at a very good research university. I believe
I am doing pretty well in my work. The problem is that I am extremely miserble... I typically
alternate between nervousness and depression.I get nervous about uncertain future etc. And then
depression kicks in: I ask myself, why worry about the future, would a postman's job
not bring me better pay, more rights and a higher standard of living? I am totally lost
about how I stand in society and see myself as a slave, who at 23, cannot even use a masters
degree to earn above min wage. I have never had a driver's license, still live with
a roommate and the money I make is awful. Life seems to be an unending wait for death
and I want to be sedated, or put out of my misery... I want to slit my throat, but
my courage fails me at that moment.

my college essay what do you think so far? what do you think the university will think? do i have any errors??? please let me know

When I look at this picture of myself, I realize how much I’ve grown and changed, not only physically, but also mentally as a person In the last couple of years. Less than one month after this photograph was taken, I arrived at North Shore Community College without any idea of what to expect. Around me in this picture are the things which were most important in my life at the time:
I will strive to be a tremendous asset to Northeastern University by devoting all my time to becoming an excellent student. I believe that I am obligated to use my talents in a constructive manner, in a manner that benefits society. The medical career gives me the unique opportunity to express my many talents while benefiting human life.

Going to a medical school and earning a degree has always been a dream of mine. My life, like many others has seen and been through times of sorrow. I have watched one loves in pain, with uncertainty of their future. Just recently a long lost Uncle has reappeared in the lives of my family. Glad to see him him back but, I'm sad and worried about is life. He has been diagnosed with throat cancer, and must under go chemotherapy. Watching his struggles urges me to learn more about steps into recovery and how I can be of help. Cancer rates are at large tacking away to many people too soon.

I believe that my ability to improve and expand my communication skills since I was constantly meeting numerous people which makes me well suited to pursue a medical career. I also consider myself a "people" person. As a sales consultant, I interact and communicate with a variety of people thereby expanding my ability to discuss a wide range of topics. Because people constantly disclosed their personal issues to me, I learned to become not only a good conversationalist, but also an excellent listener. In medical school, I also plan to pursue side work like Volunteering. One of my most rewarding experiences has been helping patients as a Personal Care Attendant.
I am Highly motivated to succeed, I dramatically improved my grades following a time at North Shore Community College. In the past year I have learned a lot through my experiences and relationships. I’ve realized that I was trying so much to make everyone else happy that I wasn’t keeping myself and my interests in mind at times when I should have. Once I realized what goal i wanted to pursue in my life, i plan to work hard to succeed in achieving this goal.
I have been diligent in my pursuit of medicine as a career because I am convinced that medicine offers me the opportunity to live a fulfilling, rewarding life dedicated to helping others. I will enter medicine eager to learn. Attending Northeastern University would be one of the greatest rewards for my motivation and persistence for success.
