I was wondering if this is possible.
I went to a community college and transferred to a state college in california (CSU system) for an accounting degree. My dream is to get a MBA from a top program like harvard, stanford, berkeley, ucla. Is this possible assuming that i keep my GPA abouve 3.8 and do well on the GMAT and work as an accountant.

I wouldn't go to Harvard even if I got an invitation, because I don't think I would get a better education there than in another university.

I want to go to college around New England as that is where I live. States around it are fine too, like NY or D.C. But not out west or in the south. What are some good colleges for females to go to? What colleges have good and healthy food? Best dorms?

What are my chances of getting into Yale? I am a senior in high school. I have a 3.95 unweighted but by December it will be 4.0. I am taking 8 classes per day. All of them are honors and AP classes. I don't even have to time to do anything else but homework everyday. My ACT practice test score was 29. But I am going to try harder. I am involved in many shows that my school holds, because my school is an Arts school. I have been directing lights, but I have also participated. I am a dancer, I also draw and play piano. I am trying so hard but will this hard work pay off later?
I have many hours of community service. I am female and caucasion. I was not born in the United States. I came here about 3 and a half years ago. I am a permanent resident of the United States(if this counts). My parents don't have college education. My family has a low income. What are my chances of getting into an Ivy leauge school?
And what can I do to improve my chances?

Thank you everyone! :)

I plan on furthering my education in about five years. That gives me plenty of time to search for a school that will earn me a Master's degree in Math Education, specifically an M.S. (not an MAT).

If you have been to an exceptional institution that offers this degree, please send the name-- and possibly the website-- my way!

Thanks,
crysh3

I want to quit school and be homeschooled by my dad and myself. I believe i have the self-motivation and initiative to do this. The high school I attend right now does not offer me the education I need to excell greatly in the subject(s) I would like to choose as a career.

I am aiming toward psychology or a teaching degree right now, and the high school I go to is a hicktown garbage school that gives out diplomas like candy. I honestly do not do anything in class... I sleep, and daydream... I still get all A's with a few high B's. I am a junior.

I want to work for myself and work my butt off in the next 2 years to achieve great knowledge and understanding of my academic studies. I want to go way over the norm and push forward... and I know I have to capability.

The problem is acceptance... private colleges will not most likely accept a guy who dropped out of high school with a GED and no high school diploma. The state schools accept GED's as much as High School Diplomas.

I'm a college freshman. I've always been a straight A student but for once, I want to have fun and explore different things in college. So, the question is, do grades in college still matter? I'm not planning to get D's or F's, but more like B's and C's. Will this hurt me in any way? No, right?

I have no idea where I want to go. Here are my grades/other stuff needed for admision and then my guidelines for a school. I have a 3.93 GPA weighted (no idea what it is unweighted). I have taken 4 honors classes and will be taking 3 this year. I am a juninor. Have taken practice ACT and have usually gotten around a 31-33 on it. Top 8% in my public school class of 600. I am involved in Student Council (3 years and an officer), Yearbook ad staff, school televiison production team, tennis team (3 years so far and varsity player), link team, Model UN, Publicity manager for fall palys, build crew for fall palys, founder of a jewish club at my school, and I work every weekend as a cashier at a grocery store.
Guidelines for a universiy: money is no matter. Nowhere west of arizona, good buisness/public relations/history programs. Strong extracurriculars. Size around 5 to 15 thousand in undergrad (Though bigger is okay), not a Chrisitan School. A football team. No where in the state of Ohio.

I heard that there are 2 kinds of pharmacy school in the States.

1. 0+6 year schools
2. 2+4 year schools

I want to know the list of 0+6 year pharmacy schools since I don't need to take PCAT(Pharmacy College Admission Test) if I go to 0+6 year pharmacy school.

And I'm a higischool senior so I think it's good chance to apply these schools.

Please let me know the list.

Thanks.
