I need help. Its 2am and I still have not done my first draft of a paper. Its due today at 12:30 noon. Im worried because I have not really done the reading but still need to produce a first draft. And let me tell you, this isnt some easy first draft, I actaully have to do it because its the "precusor" to my final draft.
Im between just taking paragraphs from the readings and citing them or just throwing whatever the hell makes sense. Or kind of does.
what can I do in this situation, everytime I try to do SOMETHING I stare blankly at the page. I'm pretty sure I will get as far as 3 pages and then try to do the reading for my final draft thats due some time in October ( the 9th actually). This is a writing intensive course and I will have to meet with my teacher for a discussion of the first draft.
Any idea's on how I can just get this done, it really sux all nighters are a part of college, I dont know if I can physically do this.
thanks.

Well I am under an IEP and I have accomodations and modifications and from what I have heard when you get to college nobody has to do anything for you anymore. Which will suck because I use things like extended time and using notes on tests. Can anyone tell me why this is?

I got my GED, and am attending community college. I was so excited thinking that maybe if I got good grades, I would be able to transfer to a University and into the pharmacy school. Well, I got all A's and B's, then I took accounting and got an F. I couldnt drop the class because it would have affected my full time status and it would have screwed up my financial aid. How do I get back on track and get myself into a 4-year university? Is it really possible to overcome your past? I keep hearing "no" and it is incredibly disappointing and it makes me want to quit.

I am thining about returning back to school to get my bachelors degree from University of Phoenix, but dont want to waste my money or my time, if I am not going to be able to get a job teaching, because of where I obtained my degree. I can go through the University of Houston Dowtown, but I have to actually be in class Mon-Thurs 6:00pm-9:00pm for about 2 years since I have 15 classes to take. With being a wife, a mother of a 10 month old and a full-time employee that sure does make my dream more difficult. Thanks for the advice!

I have decided to do a double major in history and geography. I really love both subjects and I think not only will they complement eachother, since they are closely related, but they are also different enough to provide me with a broad range of skills. (History involves reading, writing, critical thinking, etc... and Geography involves science, computer skills, etc..) As far as career choices go, I dont want to work in the business world but I would rather work in some field of public policy or possibly dealing with the environment, or some other similar job. I just wanted to get some opinions on whether or not other people think this is a good choice of double majors because I feel like every other week I have some kind of identity crisis (not really) and want to change my major. I am a sophomore in college and am trying to get my stuff planned out. Thanks everybody. =)

I want to get a BS in nursing there. I'm on my last semester of my high school and will start about 6 prereqs at a nearby community college. I took the ACT but no SAT and my GPA is 3.7-3.8 about. I took some college courses as a junior and passed an AP exam in us history. What are the odds of me getting into there? All I know is that I got exempt from the entrance exam and I heard from transfer students that it is much easier for them to get in than as a first time freshman. Will I still have further problems because I just transfered to California from Texas in the middle of my junior year (which sucked) and will have lived in Gilroy for about a year this comming novermber-december?

I am considering going back to uni next yr to do an access course followed by a maths degree. I will be 26 at the time the course starts and in total it will take me 5 yrs to complete. Having spoken to my family and friends they seem to think I am crazy for giving up a full time job and going back into education and I worry that I may be too old and left it too late. I never had a good chance at education when I was younger and feel like I want another go. I have always enjoyed maths and been good at it, I think the course I am considering would suit me. I just wish my family and friends would support me. I mean, am I too old? have I left this far too late??

Some questions about pharmacy:
1. What do you do as a pharmacist?
2. I'm a senior in high school, I've taken biology, chemistry, and physics, is it possible for me to get into pharmacy school or do I need to go to a regular college/university that provides pre-pharmacy and then transfer to a pharmacy school?

This issue with Ahmadinejad shows very little loyalty to our country from Columbia University students or faculty.

With this worldly view being taught are we losing loyalty and honor to our land and to our people?

During my 1st 2 semesters in community college, I didn't take it seriously at all, which was completely my fault. I've finally decided to take it seriously for once but now I'm worried that I won't be able to get into the schools I would like to go to. What can I do to improve my chances into getting into good schools?

I know they area all great schools, but amongst each other, how do they rank? I'd imagine that Harvard, Yale, or Princeton would battle for the top spot, but what about the others (i.e. Cornell, Brown, etc.)

I was wondering what exactly do you do when you are a pharmacist. Is it hard, not school wise...job wise? Also if I go to a pharmacy school right after high school without taking pre-pharmacy am I going to have to make up those 2 years that I would have taken if I went into pre-pharmacy. Because I was looking at some colleges and some had majors as pre-pharmacy and others just said pharmacy. Sorry if this doesn't make sense.
