Joint programs like Juilliard and NYU? Manhattan School of Music and Brooklyn law?

If there is truly a joint MFA/JD program then it is possible. Otherwise, it's really not worth it, because both programs are very intense and time consuming, and you would probably be much happier if you do one at a time and spend an extra couple years in school.

It depends on the school but most people only will do two degrees at a time if they can share credits between programs and hence finish the two degrees at less time and money than if they had to do it separately. If the school doesn't allow it, then it's probably not a good idea unless you're hell-bent on getting the two degrees anyway.
