I have to give a speech on some topic. and it has to be informative. it cant be something to broad eather. any suggetions. and this is for my reqired communications class in college

How about the designated hitter rule in baseball -- or interleague play.

If not those -- then pick something that you actually know about. For example, if you are into genealogy, show how to go about finding information on your ancestors. If you play a lot of poker, explain how you play differently in a tournament than you do in a cash game, etc.

lol.....I have the same class (at a different college) and gthe same speech to research for. TO make your speech easier....pick a topic you have personal experience in. For example: Give a speech on the process it takes to become a college student or if you're from a single arent home. Give a speech on the effects and statistics on coming from a single parent home. Just a few topics. I'm not sure what I'm doing my speech on but I wish the best of luck with yours. :)
