if i say "i want to live on" then decide to live off after accepted..
will that work?

Yes, just send them an email or a short note telling them you have changed your mind, or call and ask someone at your school. Check their requirements for when a deposit or reservation is due, too. And ask if it's refundable if you find another place to stay.

Different schools will have different policies. You are generally able to switch living arrangements with no problem if you do it between semesters, however--so if you must go with your first choice, most schools will let you move out in January (and others will accept moving out in the 2nd year).

i'm sure it wouldn't be that big of a deal. just contact the school and let them know that you changed your mind before the start of the semester.

sure you may and you will have your Pell furnish pay for lodging and not stay there and placed sum funds on your pocket.... I did it for 4 years going to college and residing at my grandparents fo unfastened!!!
