I just graduated high school and don't know if I should in fact major in architecture. I want something fun and i'm really good in math. I like designing houses but am bearly starting.

I go to Berkeley.
My professor is from somewhere in England and most of her students find it very hard to understand her.
Why do universities hire these teachers? Don't they know there's an accent barrier? Are they deaf? Do they want us to fail?!!

I have a 3.73 GPA as of 11th grade. In 10th grade I screwed up. In 9 & 11th grade I had a 4.0 Next year, I plan to recieve a 4.0 as well, bringing up my GPA. Almost every class I have taken (in every subject) has either been advanced placement, or accelerated. For electives-debate, band, French, film, & yearbook. I am enrolled at the community college taking multiple classes. I have been employed at a tutoring center for the past two years. I teach catechism at my church, & am involved in various activities there as well. I am a member of NAHS, NHS, People to People, as well as other clubs (Human Rights, V-Day, Key, Environmental, Math, Literary, French, &Animal Welfare). Along with my friend, we started an informational group regarding Darfur at our school. I assisted my film teacher on his graduate project. I have only taken the ACT once, recieving a score of 29. I will retake this in the fall w/ the SAT.

What are the chances of getting into MSU, U of M, NYU, Brown, & UCLA?

i am still confused about the requirements of study hours to be put in by a candidate and how do we manage them and record them.what is the minimum no of credit hours of study required in completing a masters in accountancy.
can some courses be done from the community college and their credits taken in a university to complete the degree.

I am a senior in college, and have forgotten a lot of what I learned in my sophomore-level classes, which I got mostly B's and A-'s in. A friend of mine, who studied practically every minute, received A's, but remembers just as little as me. Now I know that we need a standard for measuring students' effort, to guarantee that they are learning, and I know that grades must be earned...but I'm beginning to question the accuracy of a grading system that gives A's to some students and B's to others, when they lead to the same result. What do you guys think? What does that say about the learning process altogether? What IS the difference between an A and a B? Any additional feelings/opinions are appreciated

I need to know if I can take pre-req's at midlands tech and then transfer to USC to become a pharmacist. Do I need to have a bachelors degree to get into the PharmD program? How many years is the pharmacy program at USC? And ANY other info you can think of. Thanks!!

My main question right now besides if i should go for med school or not like my other question said is since I am dual enrolled, I'll need to decide a major right after I graduate so I can transfer. What should I do, go for med school and if i do i'll just pick a major that is more well-rounded that i like like journalism since they prefer non-science majors or should I maybe focus on something like nursing or physical therapy and major in that and not go to medical school since i obviously can't decide what specialty i'd want to be in for the medical school? Basically, should I pick a randon major because I'm shooting for medical school or play it safe and just pick a nursing or rehabilitative major?

I am a 47 year old SAHM and I'm planning to go to college in the fall to become a teacher. I've been accepted to one and now have to take college placement tests and I'd like to know why. What are those going to tell someone? When someone has chosen a major, there is a curriculum they have to follow in order to get a degree in that major, right? So what role do the placement tests play in following that curriculum? Thanks!

someone told me that if i keep a GPA of 3.0 or higher, then i could go to Rice for my graduate's and they'd pay for room and board AND public transportation. PLUS i'd fit their minority quota--i'm black and cuban. is this true?
