School for a plastic surgeon?

How long does it normally take to become a plastic surgeon?
How many years of college? And will an internship help my chances of getting into a better college??

Four years of a good college with excellent marks in chem, biochem, organic chem, physics with calc, and bio. Ace the MCAT tests.

Four years of med school. Get your MD degree.

Five to seven years of residency in general and reconstructive surgery.

Then you are a plastic surgeon.
