Ok. I’ve been struggling to write a term paper for my fourth year English class all week. But, Sadly, I’ve been unable to finish it. I’ve done all the research, I’ve just experienced a painful bout of writer’s block.

So now I don’t know what to do. I feel awful – actually, sick. Do I email the prof now (it’s midnight my time) just to let him know ahead of time that I didn’t finish it? If so, what do I say? Should I be matter of fact? (eg., I’m sorry but I won’t be able to hand it in tomorrow) or apologetic? (I’m so sorry; I hope this won’t inconvenience you, I understand if you don’t want to accept it) Or do I just show up tomorrow and sheepishly tell him I didn’t finish it? Or should I just skip class tomorrow and hand it in on Monday without saying anything? Is it maybe better to email the TA?

How do I alleviate an already terrible situation? He’ll probably dock off marks, but how do I handle it in the best possible way?

Please help!

I'm trying to figure out whether I should attend a great private school I've been accepted to, or a public state university, or get my undergraduate work done at a community college. The private university is quite expensive, and I'm just wondering what you guys think.

I have selected some careers that basically are different from one another.
I chose :
1.Interior designer- (( my dream career. but im still kind of iffy))
2.Film Editor- ((currently taking a media class))
3.Psychiatrist or Psychologist- ((love to help children))
4.Lawyer- ((NOT criminal lawyer.))

------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am a very fast learner, wanting to help people, incredibly creative, love to write, draw, paint and create.
Also I was wondering if whatever I chose as a career (from the above) would be a challenge if paired with a writting career???

ALSO i consider family time very important-- so what would be the best for that??

Anyone with any experience with college and admissions and everything.. help?

Okay let me tell you some things about me..
-Junior in high school
-3.7 unweighted GPA [4.0 Weighted]
-Took 3 AP classes
-Varsity Golf for 3 years
-Clubs [French honor society, national honor society, leader of diversity awareness, wolf pups, future business leaders of america]
-didn't take the ACT yet, but on the PLAN test (pre ACT test) I got a 26
-PSAT score: 1895 (haven't taken the SAT yet)

Okay well I'm thinking of applying early decision/early action to either Cornell, Columbia, or NYU. Do I have a chance ? I know it's really hard to get accepted and I need to raise my ACT/SAT score and everything. Based on what I have so far though what do you think? Realistically... Oh and should I apply early decision/early action?

Ok guys, so I'm supposed to be doing this year-long project, and one of the requirements is that I get a few interviews down. But the thing is, I've no idea who to interview! My topic is espionage, a type of intelligence work. If you know anyone who is related to this subject and won't mind setting up an appointment, please inform me asap.

Thanks

I've already decided that 'George' if often associated with power and leadership; he looks over Lenny. Also, 'Lenny' is the diminiutive of Leonard; he has a nickname because he is childlike.

What about Slim? Curley? Candy? Crooks? Carlson? What special meanings are behind their names? Is there a particular reason why so many characters' names begin with a C?
