When I was at UCD, I remember taking an intro psychology class which was taught by 4 TAs! Not even a professor! And I thought back then tuition was too high. Has the quality gotten worse even though you're paying more money?

hi, I'm planning to apply to stanford as an undergraduate international transfer student whose currently enrolled in a US community college. Is it as hard as they say to get admitance?. I really want to go to medical school. I signed up for some pre-med prerequisites my first semester at college, but got very low grades for them (I got a C- in biology). My GPA's so far have been 3.22, 4.8, and 2.67. I am now studying Health Information Management. I know I can do a lot better at my science courses during the summer because I can fully concentrate on them instead instead of 5 courses at once, and I usually get A's and B's for summer classes. If I worked extra hard and got good grades from now on (and take my science classes in the summer), do I still have a chance of getting into a medical school?

Help!

My boyfriend and my bestfriend (both taking up Electronics and Communication Engineering) will be graduating next week!

I haven't got the slightest idea what to get them.

I was thinking maybe something that they can use during their review for their board exam or whatever, but I'm not really sure what to get them. I really need help from ECE people themselves.

Is it just me, or is it dumb for people to put on here "I have a degree in X, what job can I get?" Hello! You went into the stupid degree, didn't you bother to find out how to apply it???? I am not saying that you can't do a degree for the sake of learning, but come on, who really has the luxury to afford the time and cost of this but a relative few?

If someone has just a High School education and wants to further their career, would it make more sense to get a certificate degree which is very affordable and quick, or to go for an associates or bachelors which is very time consuming and expensive? I was looking to get my certificate in paralegal because it's cheap and a quick certification. The certificate would be from a reputable school, so I dont know if that would make the difference...

I used the collegeboard.com web site to register for the SAT's and to send my scores to the colleges I am applying for. I used the rush delivery plan on February 27th. It claims to deliver the SAT scores with in 2 to 3 business days. My colleges have yet to received my scores. Have any of you had this problem if so how did you resolve this issue.
