Vet schools have prereq classes you need to take in college.

You also wanna start working with animals. Vet schools usually want a certain number of hours (around 180).

Here's UC Davis' list. Most vet schools are similar, but you should check each school in case they have a minor difference:

Required Courses
The majority of required science coursework must be completed at the time of application. Pending courses must be completed prior to matriculation.

Lower Division Required Science Courses
One year of General Biology - w/lab
One year of General Chemistry - w/lab
One year of Organic Chemistry - w/lab
One year of Physics - no lab required

Upper Division Required Science Courses
(must be taken at a four-year college)
One semester of Biochemistry
One semester of Systemic Physiology
One semester of Genetics

Additional Required
English (12 quarter or 8 semester units-one course must be an English Composition course)
Humanities and Social Sciences (12 quarter or 8 semester units)
Statistics (one quarter or semester of any Statistics course ie medical, business, ag, etc.)
