3.0 is the absolute minimum, but most schools won't look at you if you don't have at least a 3.6 or higher. In grad school, you'll have to maintain a 3.0 minimum or be dropped from the program, so they don't want to see that you struggled to keep up your gpa in undergrad - grad school classes are much more demanding.

Universities can say 3.0 all they want, but in the department I am in (English) you won't be considered unless you have a 3.75 / 4 GPA. I am in Canada though, so it might be different in the States. Also, different schools have different standards so its best to ask someone directly at the University you are interested in. Good luck in your studies!

At least 3.0 for admission and 3.5 for scholarship, I think. You can check on the websites of the universities you are interested in for specific requirements for those schools and programs.

At least a 3.0 at most schools - I have recently applied to many different grad schools in both NYC and London.

Minimum requirements are 3.0 GPA and a good GMAT and/or GRE score. Good luck!

in engineering at the institution you did you undergrad at it is 3.2+ at better places like MIT, Caltech, University of Michigan it is at least 3.6+
