my GATE 2007 score is 327,All India rank is 1673,no. of candidates in my category were 10900,whats percentile?

Percentile is the % of candidate below you.
AIR = All Indian Rank
N = Number of candidates in your category

Percentile =100*(N-AIR)/N = 100*(1-1673/10900)=84.65

its i think...
100 - (1673 / 10900) * 100 = 84.65

but u please tell me how could u get number of students appeared in your stream...i need it please mail me the procedure to get number to students in IT. my mail id is raju4u24hrs@yahoo.com
