i'm a sophomore in high school but i'm taking college math and semester will be my last year of math, my major is Bussiness Adm. and i'm currently taking Calculus and I was wondering whether I should take Calculus 2 or Statistics. Everyone's telling me to take Statistics because it's good for my major but I think I should take Calculus 2 because it'll look good on my transcript. What should I take?

Last year, I had the honor of being invited to one of the "Divine Nine'" Soroties..unfoutnately, soon after I was accepted..I decided not to continue because my family was living with me, and I worked a full time job..so I was very very tired...the members weren't too thrilled at my decision, I ran into a couple of em..and some will speak..One of the members was in my class,..she never speaks..and I mean I want too but I know how it's looked down upon if you start the process and don't continue.....But all in all I still aspire to become a member of this particular organization..it;s something that I think about all the time..However I don't know if I'll get accepted next time around..So my question is Should I still pursue membership with this organization but through a grad chapter since I'm graduating in a few monts..and How should I go about it..Should I try to get on good terms with the members of the chapter I almost initiated in.. and the grad chapter that I'll be pursuing shou

What do you think? (I was talking about this with my professor believe it or not.) So what do you think would happen if people took advantage of this? Well, there are still things to pay like student loans etc. Well, Any opinions?

I think Stanford used to be one, but now the academic requirements are so difficult that it's difficult to get quality athletes and that's why the sports teams have not been what they used to be.

Without looking anything up on the computer or elsewhere, how many Canadian provinces can you name? Can you name the capital city of Canada and the name of our Prime Minister?..........Please prove to me that there are some Americans out there who know a little something beyond their own borders :)

I just got injured and I don't think I can finish my classes this semester - one teacher told me he could do a credit/no credit and my other teacher (Math) said I would have to take a W. This class is not one that is transferable and I would have to take it again in summer or fall anyways....what do you think? Will another school reject me because of it? I have a 3.8 gpa....

I am at a community college now (in CA)

thanks

I wanted to go there for my BA/MA in Psychology. Has anyone been to that school? Is it a good school? When I have a degree from there is it going to be...."OH, you went THERE....?" or "Oh wow, JFK - good school!"

I just don't know what to decide....UCSC is too much about the research for me....

Also do you think JFK is better than SJSU?

Please only answer if you know these schools....or know of a place I could find the rankings of schools....

thanks!

They knew my e-mail address, my home address, and what school I go to, but I mean I only have a 3.4 gpa. . .

I applied to all the Ivies as a transfer student (except for Princeton--they don't admit transfer students)...I'm a west coaster and am hoping to visit the Ivies during my spring break. In the meantime, I wanted to ask those who were well-acquainted with these schools the differences between the Ivies and which one (in your opinion) is a good fit for me.

I'm not referring to their ranking per se, but their social environment. I'm a liberal, laidback type of person...I'm not huge into partying, drinking, or drugs...I love the outdoors and nature...I'm a bit artsy...I enjoy a setting that's small and intimate, but is accessible to metropolitan life. I'm not extremely competitive with other students; I'm more competitive with myself. I can handle all types of weather, but prefer mild weather. I'm majoring in anthropology.

Academically, Harvard and Yale are far reaches. My stats match up pretty well with Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth, U. Penn and Cornell.

Any recommendations?
