I wanted to go there for my BA/MA in Psychology. Has anyone been to that school? Is it a good school? When I have a degree from there is it going to be...."OH, you went THERE....?" or "Oh wow, JFK - good school!"

I just don't know what to decide....UCSC is too much about the research for me....

Also do you think JFK is better than SJSU?

Please only answer if you know these schools....or know of a place I could find the rankings of schools....

thanks!

Like I told you last time, they're so far down, they aren't ranked. Too many schools down in that level.

JFK has NO name recognition to speak of. At least SJSU is recognized as a Cal State, and the Cal States are recognized as a decent school system (just overshadowed by the UCs).

If you tell someone you have a degree from JFK, they'll go "Where? Is that a high school?"

If you wanna go there, then go there. Just don't try and convince yourself it's got any prestige. It's more about what you get out of it anyways than the general rep. If you graduate magna *** laude, people will be impressed with that and not care too much it was done at a school no one's ever heard of.
