I havent really ever heard of that degree before and I wasn't sure if it was a valuable degree to have. What careers could I pursue with a degree in leadership??

What!? Never heard of such a thing. Girl, you need a better counselor and a REAL degree. Have you ever seen a job opening for just a good leader? I haven't.

Good leadership is a quality, not a BA. Seriously, consult another counselor!

It is a good degree. These clowns don't know what day it is. A degree in Leadership/Public Administration will get you a good job in business, government or non profit management. It aligns with a Bachelors Business degree or accounting.

You really need to get a specific degree. Something along the lines of Industrial Technology, Management and Communications. If you are looking to get into the business world, right now the big reference for being looked at is knowing the Six Sigma methodology. Have your advisor look into it. I've seen many job applications that state that there must be knowledge of this.

positive. do now no longer knock what you have not got to any extent further were given. The masters is necessary in case you ever favor to be in a administration position. Now dig this: interior the military nationwide guard all you're able to favor to get your commision is 12 college credit; a B.A. to make major; and a Masters degree to regulate correct right into a colonel. No Masters - no colonel. that's a similar way in civilian jobs. Upward mobility demands a sheep epidermis.

Your advisor is directing you towards a mickey mouse degree. Get a good BA or BSc in a well-respected, traditional major (English, Physics etc) or a good interdisciplinary major (e.g. International Relations) and use your training and the evidence of your seriousness to make your career.
