At this time I work at Target a retail store I love the people that I work with but I hate the pay and the job itself, I have been wanting to go to school for the longest I just dont know how to push myself to go all the way. I go as far as making appointments for the Test and thats it. I really want to get into nursing I was even considering going to the Vocational schools but I told myself If im going to go to a vocational school I might as well go to a Community college for a better education. But see myself wanting to go to a Vocational school I have no clue on what to do, so can anyone please give me some advice.

I know that CFP is certified financial planner, and CFA is certified financial analyst, but these two licenses seem so similar to me, that I can't decide which one to pursue. What are the pros and cons to each of these? What are the requirements for attaining each of them? Also, for those of you who know the nature of the work of financial analysts and financial planners, could you please describe what their daily work responsibilities are? Is a job as an analyst simpler because you're just analyzing, instead of planning? If you know any additional factors to both these jobs, please let me know.

hi, I'm looking for a school within the csu system to go to and pretty much have it narrowed down to either one of 2: Humboldt or Chico. Humboldt has a LOT of the majors I'm considering(& some I didn't even know I liked), except for one. If I went there though, it would be twice as much a burden bcoz my big sis went there a couple years ago & failed miserably so my family would expect a LOT more from me.
With Chico, it'd be a LOT easier to get back home to Lancaster every other weekend, I really like what I've heard about the area, and I get a reeeaally good vibe about the place, but I don't know if I'd want to be so far from the beach(w/out a car) & in a place that doesn't have many of the things I'm interested in. please, if you can, HELP me with this!!!! No rude or pointless answers please, I am really wigged about this. Thanks SO much! (=

When I was little i saw a show on TV about some college that allows you to bring your pets. Does anyone know of any of these? I think it was in Michigan or something...but it was many many years ago so now that hotels, resteraunts, etc are becoming more open to pets there should be a lot more colleges/universities that allow pets, right??? Please let me know if you know of any!

I’m an arts student at uoft. People always joke around that us arts students wont get a job. Basically we are described as worthless. Also, everyone feels we have the easiest work load, which is pretty much true. Personally, I have the least respect for my field of studies. I’m doing humanities (phl, soc, pol sci). I wish I were an engineer or life science student. I have far more respect for them. Do/should they own our souls? Hahaha, jk, But really. Who should we admire more? Which one of the groups will see it’s members going places in life.

Try not to focus so much on “it’s all about the individual.” I want to hear somestereotypical answers about who is better, and why! Are we really useless??

Fight for your field of studies guys!!

How many credit hours are do you need to be a full time student? The course I am going to take has 73 hours. Is that enough? And, also if you take 2 courses with same amount of hours in the same degree, like applied sciene. Can you combine the hours to obtain a higher degree. I am looking into taking HVAC, heating and A/C which is an applied science degree, as well as Electrical/Electronics techniology

The role transition from student nurse to qualified nurse has always been highlighted as a stressful period of nurses’ life (Charnley 1999). Kramer (1974 cited by Charnley 1999) described the transition from student nurse to staff nurse as a reality shock when the newly qualified nurses realise that they are not prepared for the new role despite of the training they have had for several years.

I plan to do well in school but I would also be open minded on dating and meeting alot of women at the University of Michigan as a potential candidate to marry in the future. How are women like at the University of Michigan are they nice, pretty, smart, ambitious?
