Im looking for a college to go to and having difficulties. I want to go to school for education and probably double major in morturay science. Any one know of a good school?

Okay, im not beating around the bush with this one. i have a 4.33 weighted GPA (honors course is 5.0 for an A and im in three honors courses. that makes it). i play golf and soccer for the school. i am going to start attending 2 or 3 clubs next year (im a frosh). lets say i maintain this performance for the following three years, What type of college can i get into? a community college,a state college, a selective college, or a highly sellective college? i just dont understand what these types of colleges are looking for. thanx.

okay, so i applied to marist college regular admission...marist college in poughkeepsie, NY and i want to find out if i got in. i think march 15th is when they said they mail out letters..im not sure...

does anyone know HOW i can find out when they should be mailing out letters or does anyone know if i can find out ONLINE if i got in?

I'm a homeschooled high school senior, and I'm going to be graduating in about a month. I've been homeschooled since 2nd grade and I have one concern about college; I'll be going to college in 4 months.
My question is, how do I take notes? I've never had to, but I know I will have to soon. Do students use paper or laptops? How do you know how much to write down? And what to write down? Help!

Does anyone know any tricks to solving analogies on the GRE? That's the one section that I can't seem to get. I'm getting most of them wrong.

I'm using the Barron's book which has helped me greatly, but I'm stumped on the analogy section.

I just don't want my score to suffer.

I am studying to become a college instructor. Not sure if I'm going for my PhD or not, but still a higher-ed instructor. However, I'm becoming discouraged and here's why:
I'm not sure if I can cut the mustard. When I compare myself to my professors and colleagues, I don't feel that I can keep up with them. Everyone is so intellectual. They are always using words I do not know and I have to act like I know what they mean. Later on, I have to sneak and go look them up.
I'm also not very well read, but am knowledgeable about my subject matter. Also, it seems that people always overtalk and overlook me. I'm extremely nice, and I think they are taking advantage of this. I am beginning to wonder why there is such a presence of rudeness in academia. It's as if the only way to succeed is to step on someone else, accenuate their weaknesses, and let the world know you're better than them.

Hi , can you recomend me some good movies about chicago , I mean the ones where I can find many imagers of chicago ( famous streets , monouments, and such) I've seen ferris bueller's day of and it was good. Should I wait untill the year that I apply for med school? I could finish it early while the material is fresh in my mind, or wait untill I finish my BA and go to med school (2years), but if I take it too early will I be needed to retake it or its ok for like 5 years?
