wtf is the permanent record for??? like if i get in a fight or am rude 2 my teachers but still get straight A's and a scholarship, does my bad record ruin my chance of going to college?

plz knowledgable answers ONLY i cant find this on google

There is NO SUCH THING as a 'permanent record'. It is a myth that it exists. I remember hearing about it when I was in public school some years ago. Don't worry about it....because there isn't a 'permanent record'.

If a school has to take disciplinary action against you, such as suspension or expulsion, that may affect your chance of certain scholarships or college acceptance. Generally, most larger schools don't request disciplinary records, they just want your grades and application. But some smaller schools or specific programs might be interested if you've had a particularly intense disciplinary record, changed schools a lot, stuff like that.

So most colleges will give you a clean slate... but it's better to learn self-control now, because colleges won't cut you as much slack as high schools do - forget about detention or written apologies, they will go straight to expulsion and police arrest. So better curb your "gangsta" ways now if you want to be a REAL MAN in college.
