First, an OB/GYN does more than deliver babies. In fact, the baby part is really only the "OB" side. The "GYN" side relates to any number of other things medical relating to women.

It's a doctor, so you need to do to college (4 years) plus medical school plus internship plus residency. Plus continuing education. Expect to have 14+ years of schooling once you're out of high school.

Another route is to become a nurse/midwife. You can still deliver babies, but can't do certain other things (e.g., an OB/GYN is expected to perform surgery, a midwife is not allowed to). Schooling is somewhat less, although not significantly so.

All in all, expect to spend over 25 years (kindergarten up) in school to achieve this goal.

IT would be required that you take 4 years to become an OB. But you can go to a community college for two years, and when you want your masters you can go back fro two more years. But you can just go to a University for 4 you choose

4 years of college, 4 years of Med school, 4 years of internship, 2 years of specialty. That makes 14 years.
