I want to go to school but do not want it to be for nothing. Do you know what fields would work out for me with a felony once I graduate. I really don't want to be a drug and alcohol therapist.

I got into the fully employed MBA program for all three. UCLA is ranked highest (slightly) over USC, but UCI is 18K cheaper (I have 60K paid for through work). Plus I've heard USC has better contacts (??)

Any thoughts on which one I should accept? I'm going to stay in LA, I need to work, and I'm sure not going to foot an executive MBA, so it has to be one of these three. Any thoughts?

They say that with one free college application more than 3000 college admissions office can pre-screen your college application and make you an acceptance offer.

I am a single mother with a 14 year old daughter and I want her to think about college at an early stage and this seem like a great opportunity for her since she can bein her college application now and allow college admissions to find her.

I am just looking for some feed back.

I called today to set up an interview with a college I have applied to, they said that they do not do private interviews but they have group interviews. How do those work? I went online and registered for the campus visit and group interview, but will an admissions worker even be at the interview?

I have been accepted to several law schools for the coming fall term, and I am having a hard time deciding between the final two. On one hand, the University of Georgia is higher ranked, close to Atlanta, and located in a true college town. On the other, Florida State University is located in state capitol with numerous internship opportunities, and is closer to my wife's family. If anyone has any advice, I am all ears.

Are there any web sites that give basic information about college acceptance?

I am a home schooled high school student and need to know what I need to do to get into a film school. I am considering NYU's Tisch School of Arts, The New York Film Academy or Regent University in VA. Thanks!

First of all, is it hard to get in? I have decent but not great grades (around 3.2-3.4 gpa I believe) and I have taken alot more biology/science classes than the base prereqs. I also have healthcare experience (as an EMT and a vet tech. which I actually did radiographs). What do you think?
Also another thing I'm scared of is if I can make it through school! Like I said I have decent grades and have alot of science background. My weakest point is math though : / But I'm willing to work hard. It is really what I want to do, but I am so nervous about getting accepted! I know there are probably many people applying that are straight A students but I'm hoping my previous experience will make up for it, what do you think? By the way, I'm applying at a hospital based program (you still get an Associate's degree), is that harder to get in than a college? My area doesn't even have a college program!

I am a homeschooled high school student and would like to attend the Tisch School of Arts. I am completely unfamiliar with colleges. I assume high school grades matter in if you get accepted or not. I get fairly good grades in everything except algebra. I am VERY, VERY bad at math. Would that be an issue in getting accepted? What to I need to do to qualify to be accepted? Thank you very much!

I want to be a dietician or a nutritionist.
If you can tell me, I would appreciate it.
I have looked into nutrition at some university's websites but they didn't have that listed under any departments. I dunno.... maybe I wasn't looking good enough.

btw, is the University of York good?

I want to do one in 12th grade, but i don't know if i should because it is a double period and it might make me skip an acedemic class that i don't nessesarily HAVE to take, but my sister who was accepted to Cornell and is now waiting for the other colleges to reply to her said that i should keep taking spanish history and math and maybe a science all 4 years, and i want to take her advise. (There are 7 periods in a day.)

Understanding cinema and television as the unbounded global media that it is has always intrigued me. Even after watching some of my favourite films I immediately purchase them in script form in an effort to understand why these motion pictures can captivate an entire group of spectators in cinemas and homes across the world.
Gaining entry to the course would open up a whole new world of knowledge and information , however, the biggest aspect of the course for me would be the chance to work with and learn from experienced individuals who have worked in an industry in which I hope to one day participate. This Degree would undoubtedly give me the confidence and ability to succeed in this industry and also give me the tools needed to write creatively for film and television, either as an individual or as part of a team.
Although I have no previous involvement in this subject and have been absent from full time education for over five years, I do exhibit good learning abilities. This can be shown by my HND in Electronics and in the completion of various training courses and ongoing appraisals I currently undergo, which have ensured I have remained in a learning environment which has taken me to the peak of possibilities available in the field in which I work.
I have researched the subject I am applying for thoroughly through the prospectus and on-line information from the Faculty of Arts .Having worked in the west end of Glasgow, I am familiar with the area, the University and the bohemian atmosphere that it creates and have a desire to be involved in this lively area that pulses with a multicultural heartbeat.
In my current profession, I work alone as part of a specialist team covering the latest products and also covering most of the central belt of Scotland. Working somewhat autonomously requires great self motivation and reliability which is coterminous with the trust in the individual shown by the management.
At school I was involved in various extra curricular activities, but the one I am most proud of was the assisted reading program that endeavoured to help younger students with a learning difficulty by improving their reading on a one to one basis. Over the past few years however, the window for these types of activities has been closed mainly due to the fact that my father suffered a near fatal heart attack. Helping him through the first difficult year of recuperation and rehabilitation was the catalyst needed to prompt me to take advantage of company policy and apply for a years career break in which to travel and reassess some personal goals and ambitions.
I am fairly active in any free time that I do have and enjoy various sports including playing football twice a week and cycling three times a week. When it gets to winter I enjoy snowboarding with friends over the weekend. Having done some research I am aware that the university has various clubs and associations and, if I am successful in gaining entry to the course, I will be actively looking to join a winter sports club. I love travelling which gives time to pursue my other hobby of photography. I have visited France a few times which has given me the opportunity to brush up on the little French I know, and once drove across the whole country. I have also visited Holland, Belgium, Greece, the Czech Republic and most recently on my career break spent a few months in Australia.

Have you ever read through a Sociology or history book for general education, They are across the board so grossly racist against whites,

They will make bogus claims how Hispanic immigrants are discriminated against today much more so then European immigrants were in the early 1900's, They pretty much claim that white people haven't accomplished anything without stealing it from other races

where do they get this crap, European immigrants wereway more discriminated,,and who controls these textbooks

No wonder minorities continue to hate whites so much
Racism is taught at schools,,,and why is there so much opinion and so little factual information in these texts,, anyone else notice this
