First of all, is it hard to get in? I have decent but not great grades (around 3.2-3.4 gpa I believe) and I have taken alot more biology/science classes than the base prereqs. I also have healthcare experience (as an EMT and a vet tech. which I actually did radiographs). What do you think?
Also another thing I'm scared of is if I can make it through school! Like I said I have decent grades and have alot of science background. My weakest point is math though : / But I'm willing to work hard. It is really what I want to do, but I am so nervous about getting accepted! I know there are probably many people applying that are straight A students but I'm hoping my previous experience will make up for it, what do you think? By the way, I'm applying at a hospital based program (you still get an Associate's degree), is that harder to get in than a college? My area doesn't even have a college program!

Are you sure there aren't any other schools in your area? To find x-ray schools, go to ARRT.org, then Education/CE, Primary Certification, List of Educational Pgms, Radiography, and Submit. Go down the list until you find the schools in your area.

It can be hard to get in, but with your experience I think you have a good shot. It's not just grades that they look at. It does seem to be harder to get into hospital programs, but I believe they are better and cheaper than college programs. Math is not a very large part of the program. Don't let that stop you from doing it.

Is it a wellbeing facility or college based application? I wen't to a wellbeing facility based application and it wasn't extremely that not undemanding. wellbeing facility based classes could be slightly much less annoying simply by fact there is greater interplay between you and your instructors. be at liberty to e mail me any questions.
