I am a homeschooled high school student and would like to attend the Tisch School of Arts. I am completely unfamiliar with colleges. I assume high school grades matter in if you get accepted or not. I get fairly good grades in everything except algebra. I am VERY, VERY bad at math. Would that be an issue in getting accepted? What to I need to do to qualify to be accepted? Thank you very much!

Tisch is very competitive. I doubt they would consider your high school algebra grades as an important factor in determining admission (because majors at Tisch are arts-based) , but, you should have a high overall GPA. What I would suggest you do is begin researching Tisch online (specifically the admissions process), go on a campus tour, and Email them if you have any specific questions. They will email you back with an answer!

Good luck!
