I got into the fully employed MBA program for all three. UCLA is ranked highest (slightly) over USC, but UCI is 18K cheaper (I have 60K paid for through work). Plus I've heard USC has better contacts (??)

Any thoughts on which one I should accept? I'm going to stay in LA, I need to work, and I'm sure not going to foot an executive MBA, so it has to be one of these three. Any thoughts?

Personally I don't particularly like USC (just in terms of campus, atmosphere, etc) but I would seriously consider going there just because of the alum connections. The USC alum are VERY loyal and you would have no problem finding an awesome job after graduation (not that you'd have much trouble with UCLA or UCI either, but I think USC would give you more options). I'm 100% sure that you'll be find no matter what you decided-- they all have excellent programs of which recent grads are highly sought after.

I went to UCIrvine for undergrad and did a management minor. So I'm biased in favor of UCI, and I *still* would say USC or UCLA.

My close friend was faced with this exact choice. He went to UCLA and thought it was great. Another close friend went to USC and loved it. You can't make the decision based on the facts that you currently have. The first thing you should do is think about what you're hoping to get out of your MBA program. Then you should ask the admissions offices to set you up with a couple current students and some graduates of each of USC and UCLA. Ask questions that will help you evaluate which school better achieves your determined goals.

The money shouldn't be too important if USC is better for you. Education is an investment, and you'll make it back either way.

Consider your lifestyle as well -- do you want to commute a lot? Where in LA do you want to live?

UCLA or USC.

Last time I checked, Irvine wasn't as comprehensive as UCLA and USC. Just had management. Prestige is still going to favor UCLA/USC. I find it hard to believe that UCI was ranked #1.

UCLA! Don't bother with Irvine. It's cheaper, but the other two schools have better reputations. I'm sure many people would think that USC would be also be a good choice, but I'm biased. I'm a Bruin.
