Yes, but . . .
It depends on the circumstances as to why the person quit high school.
Getting a GED is not easy.
Going to college could be challenging unless the person develops good study skills and time management.
It is not always the smartest person who finishes a degree, but the person who is the most determined.

Of course! Why couldn't you? Getting a GED is something any monkey can do. After you get that, just enroll in college. Done and done. There is nothing hard about that. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. Now, graduating college...that's the real question. Not too many people with GED's getting college degrees. That don't mean you can't.

Of course. But it is a longer and more complicated process. You have to get the GED, for one thing. A lot of people drop out and say they'll get their GED, but then never do. Then you have to go to a small school or community college to prove yourself. Major universities still look at classwork and the types of courses you study. If you are serious about school and your future, it is not the best way. But it is doable. It certainly beats not going to college at all!

My cousin (that had a baby girl today!) quit high school, got a GED, went to our local community college and got as many credits as she could there and then continued on to get a psychology degree and then her doctorate.
