It's designed to be a 4 year program, but a few people do it in three and many people (including me) take 5 or 6 years.

In the US, 4 years is the normal time it takes to get a BA (bachelor's degree). However, if you are a full-time student every term, including summer terms, you can graduate in 3 years.

Usually in the US it takes 4 years however more and more students who start college right after high school seem to be taking 5 years or more to earn their degrees. This is due to a variety of factors the most common is poor advisement and not taking enough of or the right credits each semester. Other factors include family obligations and money. It's never too late to start or to finish as long as you are studying something you care about.

BA takes a standard of 4 years full time anywhere in the world. However some institutions will let you do it part time over a max of six 6 years or fast trrak to three years if you are up to some very hard work.
