Some of the programs I've been looking into emphasize that it is either "terminal" or "non-terminal." What are they talking about!?

I asked one of my Prof's and they said they didn't know.

I decieded i do not have enough money and time to become a doctor. I only want to attend school(college/university) for about 4 to 5 years instead of the normal 8-10 years for doctors. what is the level below a doctor that only need 4-5 years of education? what degrees?careers?salary? quality of life? etc.

Lately i've been starting to really start to look around at colleges. ideally, i want to go to an ivy type school, but unfortunately a sub par frosh year will most likely keep me from that. eventually i want to be a doctor, so i'm more concerned with my med school over first 4 year school. if i were to go to...say rutgers, would it be unrealistic to try and go to an IVY league med school?

Ok, everyone I don't know who reads these but in a last ditch effort to save my life before I screw it up, I want to get a second opinion from anyone who will read this. "Tiffanie you are EXEMPT I know how you feel". Ok I dropped out of school six months into my senior year and I can go back but I'm twenty-one years old and I am planning to go to college. I just don't know if i should finish my last six months of high school or get a GED. I am kinda bias in that i am thinking the diploma would be better, but some may say it's to late just take the GED test and start college. Does it even matter which one you have if you go to college and get a degree.

I have an undergraduate degree from a university in america and now want to pursue a masters program in britain. College application forms require me to state the grade that I received in my undergraduate course, but it is in gpa (grade point average) while the schools i'm applying to require me to state wheather it's a first class honours or second class honours. Please help me convert my gpa grade to the english system of grading. Only serious please.

I'm 18. I was always on a rush to grow up and start on with my career. When I was 16, I graudated high school and started college. I'm glad I graduated early. But I'm angry at myself because in high school, I didn't really pay attention to Science classes, so now, in college, Science is really important. I'm just stress out that what if I fail this Anatomy class in college? I already failed Biology 100 and I'm so angry at myself because I should've study really hard.

Is pre-pharmcay an actual major. I wasw on a university website and it said students wishing to follow a pre-professional course must list a different area of academic study as their major. If this is true and I want to become a pharmacist, what should I major in and will I have to get a full degree before I can apply for pharmacy school?

Majoring in History?

I've always been a social person, and I love reading about the whys and hows on certain things. I've caught myself reading the history of alchemists and chemistry, just to see what kind of story it was. I love history for the stories.
I make really good grades, I love my courses, and I would love todo this history thing. Help!
I would eventually like to be a History teacher, anywhere, secondary and then eventually instructor at a JuCO or U.

Ok, so I finished college in Dec. & I have the option of walk'n across the stage in June. I don't want to, but my fam is making a huge deal about it b/c I would be the 1st in my immediate fam to graduate college. Alas, I am torn. No one in my fam ever helped me through college. I never really received any encouragement when I was in school from my fam members, they just never said anything about it. School was like a burden to them, b/c I was always asking them to change the dates of events so I could attend. When I told my fam that I would not be walking across the stage (my choice - reasons about the school) I was immediately TOLD that I had to. I would not feel a sense of accomplishment by walking but just an obligation to my fam. I have told them this is how I feel and they basically all told me that they'd be disappointed if I didnt walk especially my mom.

Im confused b/c; well its college graduation but I'm not overjoyed at the thought of walking... what should I do.
