I know I want to have a career in nursing, I am just not sure which way to go. I have heard different things from different sources and I would like to confirm what i have heard.

1) What are the differences?
2) What does it take to become either of them?
3) How long does it usually take to get a nursing degree for these?
4) Which is the higher level of nursing certification?

I appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you.

I have a 3.9 GPA from Simsbury High school in Connecticut, one of the top public schools in connecticut. I got a 2345 on my SAT's and I have a ton of extracurricular activities:
1. School team's soccer captain
2. Vice President of "Future Business Leaders of America"
3. Biology research (private)
and tons more.

I heard that it is only possible to get in if your parents give BIG money donations to the school or were previous students. Please tell me if I have any chances of getting into any IVY leagues if my parents were not students, nor did they donate to the school.

Candid opinions are apreciated!

Thanks

I'm a grade 11 attending high school in Canada. I''m thinking of going off to the states to for college to study business? Is it a good idea? If so, what are some good school options? and is it true that I should be taking a variety of courses so that I seem more well-rounded?
Thanks!

The only thing that comes to mind is
"I am going to write about......." or something lame.

If it matters the topic is about ordinary day to day experiance, extraordinary and religious experiance and how do they relate to the 4 fundamental question in life---Origen, Meaning, Morality, Destiny....

Thanks in advance

Why are people in England under the impression that the Scot's have not to pay fees at universities. Well they do, but not up front but at the end, which can be paid just like any student loan

Is freshman and senior gpa looked at by collegeS?

I have had about 20 credits worth of F's in undergrad.

I repeated the classes and I now have A's and B's.

My questions is; how will law schools look at the repeated grades? Will it still hold me back on and calculate it in my gpa?

Do I have any chances in hell of getting in a law school?

The Wall Street Journal did a story a couple of years ago which highlighted how children of rich and influential parents who gave heavily to their alma mater received preferential treatment in admissions, even if that child has lesser academic qualifications. This took spots away from more deserving students.
