Of course you have a chance.
I think in your case, the essay will be critical. Make sure it is literate, has a narrative structure, and delineates precisely what YOU would bring to the college, not what the college would do for you.
Ivies and elite liberal arts colleges have large endowments, and support students with financial need.
You need NOT be a legacy or a donor to gain admission. Whoever told you that is an out-and-out liar.'
However, it is a crap shoot. You can never COUNT on admission to an Ivy. So be sure to apply widely, even though you appear to be a very strong candidate.
I wish you every success.

It will help if your parents do that for you but it is still possible to get into an Ivy League school with out that. Thousands of people a year get into Ivy League schools without their family buying their way in. I personally know several people who went to Ivy League schools who got in on their own merit.

I thought the highest score yo could get on the SAT was 1600. But, otherwise, it is a very impressive background, so I don't think you would have any problems.
However, people who scored really high on their SATs at y highscool had GPAs higher than 4.0, with all teh college courses and what not.
Good luck

it is more than possible to get in without any parents help. but, even though you have an amazing resume compared to many i still think you will find it hard to get into most. everyone i know that got into ivy league had over a 4.0. but that shouldnt keep you from applying. you have a good shot!

That is untrue. I have a lot of friends that went to IVY league colleges whose parents never went to school.
Talk to your school counselor about different things you can add to your application or about scholarships that you can apply for at these schools.
The way you present yourself when you go to college interviews helps a lot as well. Be confident, relax and be yourself.
You have everything going for you.

It is only possible if you write a letter to the school of your choice first. You are a nerd yes, but do you realize how hard it is to go anywhere without the right angles? Life is harder than school by far, so good luck but be ready and stay alert.

Sure! It doesn't hurt to try!!
Find out what their requirements are - you may need letters of reference from teachers, a resume, etc. And you may ask someone in their admissions department - they may be able to help you with what would increase your chances.
Best of luck & GO FOR IT!
