There were three notable universities where students held parties that mocked that of low income african americans. Since these young adults are considered our "future" what does this say about racism or racial insensitivity in America now? in the future?

well..i ma going to univeristy in the coming september.. just wanna know more about it... i have heard ppl really suffer when they study in unicersity, but i have also heard people saying that althought the material is more difficult than the high school's one, but it is less tense than high school...i know it might depend on which program a person is taking... asssume i am gonna take computer science, will it be really difficult and busy when i go to uni? and have a lot of work to do...?

Hi, I'm a college student (junior) that has taken all of my basic core curriculum at a JuCo, and I have no idea what I want to major in. I am not very good at math, science is interesting until we destroy it with detail, I'm NOT a fan of chemistry. I am however a very social person, very analytical, I'm stern with a decision once I make it, I would like to make a nice living doing whatever it is I do. I would -hate- to work in a lab or crunch numbers all day, but I would love to interact with people to get some sort of goal finished.

I've considered business, law, PR, and some other facets, but I'm hearing a bad rap on how cutthroat society is (might just be a bad opinion).
I also don't mind school as long as it's not chemistry or math. Everything else I have done fine in.
Any ideas?

ok. I am applying to UC's and I have my fall 2006 grades. UC Davis wants the update by today. If I send my update with just my fall grades, can i return to update my winter grades so that the other campuses get them by their Feb 15 deadline. Please only people who have actually done this. I tried to call the UC home admissions but I couldn't find their number on the systemwide website. Also, the email update said I could return after my initial submission to update more classes but I just want to make sure. Does anyone also have the UC system number I can call (toll-free).

I'm going to try researching some college search sites too but I want to know if anyone has recommendations or experience at colleges that have majors in Drafting, Engineering, computer Science but also have a good balance of multimedia classes such as computer graphics and animation, music production. Ive been accepted into four universities but the ones that stand out to me are UIC and ISU (Illinois State). But i am not sure of which one to attend. UIC is a very good school but ISU has my exact major which is Broadcast Journalism. But UIC is like..the best but I cant take communications until my sophomore year and i have to be accepted into the program. What if I dont get accepted?Then what am i going to do?
