Oooh, tough. You have a chance, altho it's not very good.

Being an immigrant is useless. I can't tell for sure by your name, but I'm assuming you're Asian? You're hurt by the unspoken affirmative action factor. However, I hope somewhere in your app you explained how you grew up in an impoverished neighborhood and home (if you did). That would help, even if you're asian.

I have been given popular to UC Berkeley and could be attending this autumn. I had a incredibly sturdy GPA and SAT rankings. I did community provider and alter into in contact in my college. i think of that through fact maximum folk employing to Cal have a GPA of over 4.0, it specifically comes right down to community involvement and essays. Dont assume letters of rec.-they dont ask for any and could not examine any which you do deliver. i can't say no count if Cal will/won't settle for you, yet I advise which you write some incredibly impressive essays! Cal is a ultimate college and that i desire you get in!

Your SAT is awesome. Your GPA, not so much. All you can do is apply! Is UC Davis one of the "top 10%" requirement schools? If so you will have to sell yourself like crazy.
