Ive been accepted into four universities but the ones that stand out to me are UIC and ISU (Illinois State). But i am not sure of which one to attend. UIC is a very good school but ISU has my exact major which is Broadcast Journalism. But UIC is like..the best but I cant take communications until my sophomore year and i have to be accepted into the program. What if I dont get accepted? Then what am i going to do? Can someone do a little research 4 me. Thanks.

I went to Purdue and know a fair amount about the chicago area. From my experiences, IUC is an excellent school and I think you should go there. Sure, there is a chance you won't get accepted into the program, but why settle for ISU because of something that MIGHT happen. If you were smart enough to get into IUC, then you will be able to get accepted into their program. Usually they have very minimum standards, like 3.0 gpa and a few special classes that you have to take your first year, so nothing too difficult. If you discipline yourself and spend more time studying and less time on Michigan Ave., then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Have more confidence in yourself. I would never go to a lesser school just because it is an easier path

Go to UIC. They have the acceptance at sophomore year to weed out the people that have no clue what they are doing in college. It sounds like you know what you want, so getting into the program should be easy.
