I would like to get a bachelors degree in accounting online. Or, a Masters Accounting program for people with nonaccounting undergraduate degrees.

I am currently a freshman in college, and I am a Political Science major, minoring in Economics. I will be graduating in 2 years (May 2009) due to AP credits, and coursework I have/will be doing over winter/summer breaks. I will be 21 by the time I finish my bachelors degree, however this brings up a few questions as I have intentions on continuing to law school:

1. Will it effect my chances at getting accepted to a good law school if I decided to wait to enter/apply to law school and get a "real" job for a year or two?
2. What kinds of jobs could I possibly do with a degree such as that (political science, with a minor in economics)?
3. Am I making a mistake by graduating early? Should I just stay the full four years and possibly turn the economics minor into a major, or pick up another minor (such as french)?
4. Will my freshman year grades now be even more important in deciding my acceptance to law schools as I will only have three years of college?

I am currently enrolled at Penn State University and am a first year student. During my first semester (last semester) I applied to transfer to the University of Maryland for the next semester (this semester). I applied way back in Oct. and constantly called in to check my status starting in the December. I received no luck as I kept on calling needing to get an answer before I had to go back to school. Finally I did not get an answer till Jan 25 and I was accepted but by that time I had been in school for several weeks already! If I leave now then I would have to pay 40% of Penn State's out of state tuition and my room and board for the rest of the year here on top of the MD tuition. I also have started all my classes and am halfway through a significant group project. I would also not have time to ease into the transition, get the classes I'd need or have a place to live nearby. I wrote them a letter and they said they needed to review it with a commitee. Would theydefer me

A few days ago one of my highschool's AP psych teachers came to talk to one of my classes and said that it is required and that it is really hard in college; was this just to get us to take the class, or was the teacher telling the truth?
I only ask because if it is a required course I wouldn't mind taking it next year (my senior year) aside from it being my sixth AP class next year.

I am just beginning my college search, and I am seriously considering not taking math my senior year of high school. I am taking College Algebra and Trig this year, but I really am not a math person. Most of my friends say that its not smart to not take math my senior year. I understand what they mean because I know colleges look at the courses you took your senior year.
In place of math, I was planning on taking two english courses. In college I plan on majoring in English with an Emphasis on Creative Writing. My problem is, if most collges require a math course for generals, then after having a year off of math, I don't think I'm going to know what I'm doing.
If you could give me the typical generals requirements, that would be great. None of the college websites I've visited (and there have been quite a few), have posted their requirements. Thank you so much!

I live in Indiana and I am going to get my associates at a technical institute, I have been browsing many options but I am trying to avoid any professions where I may been dealing with a significant amount of "hands on" with blood and such. (easily queasy) I was wondering what the best pay associates degrees were?? All answers appreciated! Also, does anyone know the salaries of the answers they are giving me? THANKS!! :)

The school counselors at my school are COMPLETE morons. They are always trying to put you into classes that you do not even need, and when it comes to senior year, you find out that you are missing a bunch of classes. Luckily, I check the requirements to graduate and the requirements to go to college so I already KNOW what I need. I am DONE with science, I took my two lab science and two other sciences; I am a Junior. All that I need is 12th grade English and Gov. & Economics. I go to the office today to make sure that the idiot doesn't screw up my schedule and he is trying to tell me that I need to take science, take this and that, when I KNOW that I am DONE. He also put me into a bunch of classes w/o asking or even telling me. And when I tell him that "I do not need science or math", he goes on to say "well, I do not know". WTH?! This same exact BS is why my friend (who is a senior) is taking THREE English classes because the counselors did NOT give her the classes she needed.

I am worried that a 218 rank out of 782 is not good enough. How high does my rank have to be to get into a good college? I am thinking about going to Georgia Tech to study bussiness management. I am also taking 2 AP classes next year(LA and World History). Am I on the right track?

I am a freshmen in college and I would like to pursue a career as a physician assistant. My current major is healthcare administration with a minor in gerontology. I really don't want to major in any science (bio or chem). All PA schools require that you finish certain prerequisites, but most also say that they do not care what you major in as long as you finish those courses. However, would a Bachelor's in Nursing better prepare me for PA school? Would it give me more of an edge when I apply? Or is healthcare administration an okay major to stick with?

im a sophmore, and during my freshman year, i skipped school ALOT. i was always hanging out with friends instead of going to school. so obviously .. i failed all my classes. but i learned my lesson, and now im going to school, and im doing well. so far i have had good grades in al my classes, mostly a's and b's... no c's at all... and i passed all of my midterms... i still need to make up my credits from last year, but i plan to go to summer school, and take night school in the fall to get caught up

will colleges be turned off by my freshman grades?... or if i continue to do well the remainder of high school... will they just not worry about it?

i wanna go to the university of delaware hopefully. of maybe del tech. not really sure yet.

thanks
