Wouldn't the cost of Medicare be lower due to so many doctors. Wouldn't that offset the cost of the free schooling

We'd have horrible doctors.

Medicare won't be lower because we'd be paying much more claims due to lawsuits or simple compensation to patients who got hurt by the incompetent doctors.

With our litigious society, we'd likely have higher Medicare under your plan.

There is a shortage of teachers to teach the medical students. I don't know about you, but I want my doctors to have the best possible education and training. To have such a high student to teacher ratio would lower the student's value of education. You're probably right, but it won't happen.
