I have had about 20 credits worth of F's in undergrad.

I repeated the classes and I now have A's and B's.

My questions is; how will law schools look at the repeated grades? Will it still hold me back on and calculate it in my gpa?

Do I have any chances in hell of getting in a law school?

You still have a chance if your overall GPA is decent. If the F's are recent, that will hurt. If they are from the beginning of your collegiate career, it wont be quite as damaging, since you will have shown improvement.

It will make it more difficult or unlikely that you will get into a big name school like UCLA, Harvard, Yale, Etc, but there are nearly 200 Law Schools and, especially if are willing to go to school in California and your LSAT is above 150, you'll probably get into at least one.

Make sure you go for ABA approved schools, otherwise passing the bar will be very, very difficult and you will only be able to practice in the state where that school is located if you do pass.

good day playstation , It relies upon a lot on what different concepts you've and what your targets are. once you're searching to flow out of the realm and practice regulation at a proper ranked regulation agency, that is a foul idea. once you're searching to get a regulation degree, artwork in that area, and don't have desires of $160k/3 hundred and sixty 5 days, then getting an finished journey is your best wager. regardless of the indisputable fact that, with out understanding your numbers, it really is difficult to say for particular; in case you'll get an finished scholarship at a better effective college, you ought to decide on to check out that. also, be particular you understand the situations of the scholarship. many colleges will positioned GPA criteria on them (jointly with you opt on to stay contained in the proper 10% of the kind), and your GPA is not in any respect guaranteed at regulation college. solid success!

It depends on the university, but some law schools will not accept undergrads with repeated F's or DNC's. You'll need to write an essay for admission anyway, so if you're determined to try, be sure to address the negatives, and find a way to 'spin' them to your advantage.
