I won't know for WEEKS! And it's not just the going back to school, it's the fellowship money, and the fact that I'll have to move across the country in about 4 months!

It's always stressful when you are waiting to hear back from a school. I am in the same place, but waiting to hear about college acceptance. About two weeks ago, I was right where you are now; worrying constantly and being overly anxious. I realized that no matter how fast I want that letter to come in the mail, it won't come until it is good and ready. I've spent my time focusing on others things to get my mind off of the stressful things. I also know that whatever happens, happens. You need to remember that everything happens for a reason. This may just be a test of your patience and patience is a virtue. I don't know what your beliefs are, but God would never give you something you were not able to handle. If it is meant to be, you will get the money you need, and moving across the country will be a big, but positive change for you. Focus on the positive and the negative will become faded. Good luck!

Ya, I definitely know how you feel. I've been checking my e-mail and mailbox about 5 times a day for the last few weeks. Luckily, I heard back from two of my top choices two weeks ago, so I haven't been going as crazy as I could be.

Just keep yourself busy. Go to the library and study or hang out with friends to keep your mind off of acceptance letters. Worrying about it won't change anything now but if you get really nervous, go talk to one of the professors that wrote a letter of recommendation for you. They could let you know what they think your chances are.

Good Luck!

You'll be fine. Plus, why worry? It's not something you can do anything about right now anyways. So, since you're waiting, enjoy your life. Deal with it when the time comes. Otherwise, you're just wasting energy.
