Majoring in History?

I've always been a social person, and I love reading about the whys and hows on certain things. I've caught myself reading the history of alchemists and chemistry, just to see what kind of story it was. I love history for the stories.
I make really good grades, I love my courses, and I would love todo this history thing. Help!
I would eventually like to be a History teacher, anywhere, secondary and then eventually instructor at a JuCO or U.

Stay in school and look for a University with a good History Dept to join. Once you've got your Bachelors, then get a post grad teaching qualification. Then you'll be qualified to teach hisotry in High Schools.

Keep on studying and reading up on your obvious passion. You may need to major in education in college while taking lots of history courses. Good luck

confusing to reply to because each State has their very own procedure for certification. There might want to be a application interior the college referred to as Secondary Social study training. both way, ask you college consultant--thats what they're there for.
