Yeah not bing in halls can affect your sociability as that's where most students meet and organise going out etc. Why don't you try and organise something with the other students on your course, or maybe join a sports club or if you're not sporty, join a society... that way you'll meet lots of new people and they often have club nights out etc themselves.
