To become a Medical Doctor, yes you need med school.

To become a doctor of English, no Medical school necessary.

Nope. If you want to be a doctor, expect 8-10 years of school AND residency. Oh and you have to pass the MCATS.

If you think that becoming a doctor is easy, think again.

become another kind of doctor like with a phd.
dentists have their own school diff than med school.
think about other countries that may have different requriements.

You can get a 'degree' in homopathy or chiropraty or accupuncture and CALL yourself a doctor. But if you don't want to be considered a quack, then, yes, you have to go to medical school.

I'm assuming you mean in the medical field.

Well, you can go to DO school. And yeah, homeopathic and chiropractors also call themselves doctors.

Most people won't consider those people doctors, altho DOs can get away with it more.

noo then you have 2 take the MCAT after that unless you want 2 become unlisced and go to prison thats the way around it

sure...get a job at a butcher's shop or fish market...maybe there are some classes you can take over the internet or get some correspondence videos from your local community college...or better yet, don't even worry about it...just tell people you are a doctor...you seem smart enough to pull it off...
