I'm having issues choosing the right major for me. The only thing I know is that I need to do something creative without becoming a starving artist. Have any ideas?

Granted, it's only the 3rd day of college, but it seems like everyone else has already made loads of friends and is hanging out with them all the time. I haven't really made any friends yet- I have little in common my roommate and dormmates (they are all regular preppy sports fans, whereas I'm interested in other things).
To compound the feeling of not fitting in, I'm 1 year younger than the other freshmen, too...

Is it normal to feel this way?? It seems like everyone else has made new friends so easily! It's kind of getting me down...

I am taking two borderline Grad level courses this semsester which are really hard and I was wondering if anyone had any study tips?

BTW, they are two theology courses. I want to keep my high gpa and I was just wondering how some of you folks study for the upper division, senior level courses.

thank you

Okay, I graduated from college last year with a degree in Psychology my gpa was a 2.42, very horrible...I didn't exactly know what I wanted to do because I was so busy trying to get out of school...about 5 or 6 months ago, I started to consider nursing because I have a genuine passion to work in the health field and help people feel better. Now I'm back in school completing my pre-reqs...(I'm aiming for at least a 3.5+)

I'm going to apply for about 7 nursing programs around the southern region. Do you honestly think I have a chance of going to nursing school? I do know that nursing school is highly competitive. I'm 23 years old, married, and very disciplined. What do you all think????

• There are some skills that virtually all people use every day. There are some skills that only few people have, but all people should master.

• Think about a skill that most people do not have but could benefit from mastering. Why would people benefit from having this skill? What are the consequences of not having this skill?

I plan to double major at San Francisco State U (History and Chemistry) once I get out of high school.

For my first six years I will try to get into the History Honors Bachelor's program and the Chemistry BS program

If I maintain a GPA of 3.7 or close to a 4.0, score high on the GRE exams, is it possible to transfer to a UC (Davis, LA, Berkeley) for my graduate education?
