Aechitecture achool is a five-year program. You can enter as a freshman and go for five tears or trear it as graduate school after geting a four-year degree in something. You have to pass one of fthe most grueling tests of all professions to become a licensed architect, but if you are god at math and technical drawing, it's one of the most fun and rewarding professions to be in. It's much easier to become a lawyer.
If I wanted to be an architext I'd first get an Associate's degree in Architecture at a community college. You can gwet a god job working for an architect with an associate's degree, you'll see what you're in for in architecture school and have a jump on fthe technical side of architecture school. Keep an open mind about the design part. Youll have a freer hand in a five-year program fthan fthey'll let you have in a Comm. College. It should never take ten years to become an architect, but you need to have the right frame of mind, dedication and very good math skills. You have to communicate with engineers. When you buy your first set of supplies, try to find one of fthose rules tfhat you pull down and lay across the drawing board (used from drop-outs is fine)rather fthan a plain "Mayline" you have to hold in place while you draw.
Good Luck. It's a tough curriculum.

Well'' first,to clear up the misconceptions, architecture is mainly only a 1 to 2 year course. I would say that it's worth it. It's an exspensive technical school though. So be sure of financial status. I myself might go into this field... I'm only 17, but this is one thing that I know about...
