Yes, it will cost more to go to college out of state - but, since you are beginning early you have plenty of time to research scholarships that can help defer the cost. Check on scholarships and what their requirements are - since you have three years left of high school, you could join the clubs and make the grades that you need to be able to apply for that scholarship in the future. It's never too early to begin planning for college! Good luck!

It's never too early to start planning out your future. You should talk to your high school guidance counsellor and map out the future, and discuss the colleges that are your best options. In answer to the second part, yes, it usually costs more to attend a college if your permanent address is in a different state. The exception to this is if you life in the state where you want to go to college for 12 consecutive months before you apply, then you are considered a resident, and you are charged resident fees, which can be 1/3 of the cost, unless it is a private school, then it won't make much difference either way. Good luck and God bless.

No. They will look at your last 2 years of high school
You need to get all A's an Bs
You need to take Geometery, if you haven't alreayd, Trig, Algebra 3 and 4, Chemistry, Physics and Biology
IF you can't deal with that, find another field
You have NOT lived until you and College Organic Chemistry smash heads!
Final exam is like 10 pages of benzine rings and YOU have to fill in all the atoms!
Just Benzine rings and dashes. YOU have to fillin the H, O and C
If you're going into the MEdical field that means 9 to 13 years.
Expect to be between $250,000 and $500,000 in debt by the time you graduate!
Living elsewhere WILL cost money. Roomates, Dorms, Frat houses!

No, it is not too early to plan. You could start to visit campuses this year and see what you like. Also, you will need excellent grades to get into a good school. Yes, it will cost more to live in another state because they will charge out of state tuition and it will cost more to travel to your home and back. Make a list of all of the questions you have and start looking at college catalogues.

Its never to early to start planning, but dont set it in stone, what you want to do might change 10 times until then. When I was in 10th grade I thought I was going to be a carpenter. But now im pursuing a degree in astronautical engineering. So be open. And yes it will cost more to goto a school in another state.

If you do not live in Alabama your tuition will cost quite a bit more. Go ahead and plan, it's never to early, but don't put your eggs all in one basket...look at a lot of different schools and make sure they have everything that you want...apply to many...colleges are getting more competive...even validictorians don't have their pick anymore!
Good Luck!
Blessed be!

Not at all dude. Start researching financial aid, admission requirements, etc.
Depends on the state. Tennessee has a pretty low cost of living, and it does have Vanderbuilt. But, check around. Alaska may have some amazing programs if you will stick around and practice there for a while.
Good Luck

It's never too early. Start planning as early as you can! Believe me. It's my second year in college and I wish I had started planning my freshman year of high school.
Out of state tuition is more than in state tuition. Sometimes it can be twice as much. Check the school you want to go to.
God bless you as well! Keep working, study hard and have fun!!

Good for you! It's nice to see high schoolers planning for their future in advance. And, if you want to get into the medical field that's a really good idea, because it's a competitive field to get into. But, more on the medical school level. Just make sure you do well in undergraduate.
Yes, tuition for out of state residents is definitely more. Which is why you can't go to the Univ. of GA (a much better choice), but I digress. =)
Good luck!
