well people talk about listenin to music on headphones and how bad they are for your ears so well is listenin to music though a stereo bad for your ears aswell, i usually listen to music on my stereo around volume level 15 (outta 64) can this be harmful

Even when I push the menu and select button combination it does not work. I also turn on and off the hold button but when i turn off the hold button, it still acts as if its on hold and it locks and my songs dont play at all and the wheel also doesnt work. The only thing i see is the name of the last song i listened too on a dark screen. I know that you can not restart and ipod with the hold button on but even when i turn it off i cant restart it because the ipod is still somehow on lock. Please help me out. Should i just go to a repair store. I cant take it back to where it's originally from because it was bought from a store in vegas..not where im from.

Without having to buy another complete stereo system for my home, is there a device that I can use with my home system? Kensington Pico FM Transmitter for iPod is listed on Apple, but I'm not clear if this will allow me to listen to my music at home. My grandmother told me when she seen me with my MP3 that if I listened to it all the time, and really loud it could cause me to lose my hearing. I am listening to it right now. Is she right?

Note: Lowest setting is 1 (in my ears)
Highest: 31 (out of ear so someone can hear)

My nano literally blew up when I was charging it and the 2 year warranty is over. The center part was blown off and my whole dorm smells like burnt battery. It was still in good condition and I only used it to put me to sleep at night. Do you think apple will replace it even with the warranty expiration?
