How can my 8th grade friend convince her parents to get her an iPod nano? They got her a shuffle 2 yrs ago for her birthday, but someone stole it about a yr ago.
She really wants an iPod, she has offered her parents to pay for the stolen one and to pay for the new one. Her parents just change the subject and just don't want to get her one. What should she do?

Because of restrictions on downloading software on a laptop I've been given as a teacher I can't download iTunes. Have tried Doppler etc but find this complicated - use of RSS feeds (?)

Need an alternative as straight forward as iTunes - ie click on the podcasts you want and they get downloaded when they're available.

Ever since i got my ipod n hooked it up n added music to it. When i burn data discs for my car's cd player it says no audio n before it would work perfect. It might also be from when i upgraded itunes. I'm not sure. It would show the atrist n the name of the song on my pioneer cd player. Anyone know wuts wrong or has had the same problem? Think it might be a little settin i gotta switch back 2?

Hi, I want to record from CD into a recordable cassette tape
to listen in walkman, Is the following a good idea
I was wondering if I can find a cable from a boombox to a portable cassette recorder
Cause I am copying cds to tape-
will this work if I get a cable with 3.5 mm jacks on each end
and plug one end in the boombox headphone jack and other end in the mic jack –
will this work – do you think this works if i get
you need is a 3.5mm to a 3.5mm male connector. This can be found in most electronics stores.

I dropped my iPod from quite a height and now it wont work. I've even managed to bend a corner of the metal casing. It also now rattles inside. I imagine that I would have broken the hard drive too.

Is there anywhere I can get it repaired or should I just buy a new one? It's one of the first video iPods that came out (G5).

when I dock my ipod onto my PC (Windows xp) it takes ages to do anything and itunes freezes for a while, I then get an error message saying "itunes has detected an ipod is corrupted". It then instructs me to restore, but then an error occurs here aswell. Does anybody know of any way of restoring my ipod externally or away from itunes? I think there is no hope of itunes restoring my ipod.

The model is 30GB Video.

I have a question i want a i-pod nano the hot pink one! I was wanting some questions answered about it first! Is the 4g the best one to get? Is i-tunes hard to understand? Its a Creative Nomad Jukebox somthing. Whenever I try to connect my mp3 to my computer it freezes. I have tried to renstall the software, same result, is there anything else I can do to make it work? sending it in and getting a new one is not an option.

if i got a new hard drive for the ipod would be like new... cause the one i got has problems ... so the question is ...what parts do i need to get to get it to act like new.. internally not externally...also where is a good reliable place to do it and how much would the parts cost? thank you in advance for any help you could provide
