I tried resetting it but when the Apple logo appears, it frizzes out again.

Whatever you do, don't turn it on. That will only make things worse. Let it dry for a while and it may be Ok.

You can also try restoring your iPod - but only after you've let it dry out for a few days. Instructions for how to restore it are here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60983

VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT, DO NOT, and DO NOT!!! try to restore it until you have given it a few days. If you try to use your iPod before it has had *sufficient* time to dry out, I can guarantee only one thing: your iPod will never work again.

They're a rather delicate electronic device. Not only did the water not do it any good, but neither did the soap or the constant banging against the side of the washer drum.

Your only real bet is to let it dry out for a looooong time, then try to get the guys at the apple store to not figure out it's been through a bath and exchange it for you as faulty...

That befell to my pals iPod nano, and it survived. in specific situations, in line with danger even hardly, iPods do no longer artwork on the instant after water washed over it yet start up working in a week or plenty greater beneficial. So supply it somewhat time and if it would not artwork, then take it in (to Apple) and get it acknowledged at.
