I have both Windows Media Player 11 and ITunes on my computer. This is taking up a lot of space. Do I need both to have music go to my Apple I pod.

The Apple iPod is only compatible with iTunes. I tried Windows Media, because personally i'm not that fond of iTunes. But sadly enough it's the only program that will sync music onto your iPod.

no itunes is for ipods to download music onto them. You don't need windows media player too.
