It's flashing the "Do Not Disconnect" sign, and when I try to "safely remove" the device, my computer tells me I can't. It isn't updating.
I've tried ejecting it with the buttom next to its name on iTunes. It didn't work.

I downloaded songs to my windows media player from limewire on the computer. my ipod says its going through but the songs do not appear what am I doing wrong please help!!

I'm thinking about getting an Ipod Nano, but i was wondering if you can only download songs from Itunes onto the Ipod and not from other programs. I'm not planning on spending a dollar per song to put on my ipod. So can you use other free programs like limewire or mp3rocket to put songs on your ipod? Thanks

I was playing around with it not really sure what I was doing then I think I changed the volume limt like where you go to settings, volume limit, and it says "select new maximum volume limit" I changed it then it said enter a combination to prevent further changes but it seems to have gotten softer rather than louder. How do I fix it back?

I converted a movie to mp4 and when I opened it in iTunes there is sound but no picture. Did I do something wrong or is it my computer? I used Jodix converter. Never thought this would be so complicated.

I have a ipod nano 2nd generation and i wanted to put a couple podctas on it and i found some on my favorite mag i subscribe to. There were 2 kinds that i found one that said podcast and one that said video podcast. I subscribe to them both and i tried to put them on my ipod and it only added the podcast 1 and not the video one. Is it the video podcast or is it that ipod nano dosent have a video?

I have only 126 songs on my iPod, which says its 500 MB...but above that, it says that i have 1.81 GB used. My iPod holds 1000 songs, but i only have 126. I used to have about 20 photos, but I deleted them all.....Whats taking up all this space?

I tried to update it to new software or w/e and now its saying its corrupt. It took all the files off of my iPod and it wont let me put the songs back. Everytime i plug it in it says that it is corrupt. What can i do to fix this? (before i go to the Apple store)

There are certain playlists that I listen to frequently and I would prefer if they didn't always play in the same order. Is there a way I can shuffle an individual playlist and play it rather than shuffling my entire library? I want to do this directly on my ipod as opposed to in iTunes; though I would like to be able to do it there too. I have an ipod mini.
