"The iPod cannot be ejected because it contains files that are in use by another application"

How do i fix this?

Also

I have only 126 songs on my iPod, which says its 500 MB...but above that, it says that i have 1.81 GB used. My iPod holds 1000 songs, but i only have 126. I used to have about 20 photos, but I deleted them all.....Whats taking up all this space?

Help???

sa me here i have a NAno 2 GB same with you but dont worry just add as much you would want to then see what happens. for the error thing make sure you arent playing with Itunes or maybe Real or anything else , Close all windos and see what happens with the Itunes

that happened to me once. just make sure EVERYTHING is closed on ur computer. then try ejecting it. but i dont think that worked for me. i just disconnected it my self. but if i can remember i THINK i lost all my songs. idk.
